Stephen Curry injury: Warriors MVP turns ankle vs. Rockets, questionable for Game 2
Let’s all hope the MVP is OK.

Golden State coach Steve Kerr said after the Warriors’ 104-78 win on Saturday that Curry is questionable for Game 2 on Monday night in Oakland, though Curry told reporters he expected to play.
“I don’t see a scenario where I’ll be out,” Curry said, per Ben Golliver of Sports Illustrated.
Curry was electric in the first half before the injury, torching Houston for 24 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field with five three-pointers. He left the game in the final minutes of the second quarter and was immediately examined by the team’s training staff on the sideline. Golden State took a 27-point lead into halftime, but the health of the reigning MVP overshadows everything else in the first game of the playoffs.
Curry has a history of ankle injuries, which limited him to only 26 games in the lockout-shortened season of 2012. Curry has remained healthy ever since, playing in 80 regular season games last year and 79 this season during the Warriors’ record-breaking 73-9 campaign.
