Mavericks vs. Thunder 2016: Time, TV schedule and how to live stream NBA playoffs

Dallas looks to bounce back from an embarrassing Game 1 loss.

Things couldn't have gone worse for the Mavericks. It's not just that the Thunder slaughtered them in Game 1, 108-70. More worrisome for the Mavericks, they were never even in the game.

The Thunder looked bigger and faster and stronger from the opening tip. They forced turnovers and stayed home on Dallas' shooters instead of sending help towards Dirk Nowitzki. They dominated in transition. Dallas has no answer for the explosiveness of Russell Westbrook (24 points in 29 minutes), the precision of Kevin Durant (23 points in 26 minutes) or the interior prowess of Enes Kanter (16 points and 13 rebounds in 23 minutes).

The Mavericks are a veteran team that knows how to deal with tough playoff losses. Nowitzki is not one to roll over, nor is Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle. The latter is sure to come up with a new game plan to get the former more involved. But if the Mavericks do plan on getting back into the series, they're going to have figure out a way to slow down the Thunder's explosive attack.

Game 1 made it seem as if they’d never be able to. But over the past half-decade the Mavericks have made a habit of beating expectations. Let’s see if they can do so again.
