Game 1 between the Pistons and Cavaliers was closer than many thought it would be. The Pistons, not normally a good three-point shooting team, were able to get hot from deep and connect on 15 of their 29 long range looks. In the end, the Cavaliers were able to open up a small lead and pull away for a 106-101 win. Still, Detroit has to feel good about the fight it put up against the heavily favored Cavaliers.

Cleveland looks to push its series lead to 2-0.

To pull off the upset in Game 2, though, the Pistons are going to have to come up with an answer for Kevin Love. Love finished Game 1 with 28 points and 13 rebounds. Cavaliers head coach Tyronn Lue's decision to slide Love over to center early in the fourth quarter proved to be the difference for Cleveland. The move pulled Andre Drummond away from the basket and the Pistons had no solution for the Cavaliers' small-ball lineup.
"He spreads the floor out and it makes it tough in pick-and-rolls for your 5s to get out there," Pistons coach Stan Van Gundy said after Game 1. "We didn't cover [Love] well, even when do cover, then we've got our center away from the basket. We've got the best rebounder in the game and we're playing him 25 feet [from the basket]."
It will be interesting to see how Van Gundy elects to matchup with this lineup, which the Cavaliers are certain to continue riding, in Game 2.
