Clippers vs. Blazers 2016 live stream: Start time, TV schedule and how to watch Game 3 online

The Clippers have been dominant so far but winning on the road could prove challenging against the Trail Blazers.

The Clippers have looked downright dominant on the first two games of their first round series against the Trail Blazers. They have won by 20 and 21 points, respectively, always having an answer to a Portland run. Everything could change, of course, now that they'll have to beat their opponent on the road.

The Blazers struggled to win away from the Moda Center all season long, so it's not exactly surprising that they couldn't steal one game in Los Angeles. They are surely counting that with the support of the home crowd, C.J. McCollum and Damian Lillard will perform better.

The two deadly scorers have seen their field goal percentage drop significantly, as the Clippers have geared their entire defense towards stopping them. They are both crafty enough, however, to break free and have a big night, which is what will have to happen if Portland hopes to keep pace with Los Angeles.

As good as the Trail Blazers have been at home, it will not be easy to handle one of the best road teams in the NBA coming off two days of rest. The down time should help J.J. Redick and Blake Griffin get healthier while giving Chris Paul, who has been carrying the team for long stretches, the break he needed. Even when not at full strength Los Angeles' offense has been hard for the mediocre Portland defense to handle. If all the core players put together a good game, it might be impossible for the Blazers to keep up.

Everything so far has gone the Clippers' way, however, and that could change. Their bench, which has been bad all season, has stepped up greatly but could be due for a down game. If Al-Farouq Aminu and Maurice Harkless hit a few more of the open three-pointers Doc Rivers is happy to concede in order to stop Lillard and McCollum, that could put a lot of pressure on Los Angeles' defense. The series is far from over.

A Clippers’ win in Game 3, however, could be a devastating blow for a young an inexperienced Trail Blazers team. They need to emerge victorious on Saturday to keep the hope of a comeback alive
