Blazers vs. Clippers, 2016 NBA playoffs: Game time, TV schedule and how to watch online

The depleted Clippers return home.

It'd be hard for a single game to go any worse for the Clippers. The 98-84 Game 4 loss, which evened the series at two, was bad enough. But the Clippers also lost Chris Paul to a broken hand and Blake Griffin to a strained quadricep, and suddenly what once looked like a promising season now looks to be on its last leg.

Both Paul and Griffin are done for the series, and likely the entire postseason as well. With them out of the lineup the Clippers are going to have to find new ways to manufacture points. They’ll also need to figure out how to slow down Al-Farouq Aminu, who scored a career-high 30 points in Game 4.

The good news for L.A. is that the defense has been there most of the series. The Clippers have held Damian Lillard to 27 percent shooting and C.J. McCollum to 33 percent.

With Paul and Griffin watching from the sidelines, the Clippers are going to need those two trends to hold if they have hope of beating the Blazers.
