The good news for the Raptors is that Kyle Lowry seems to have rediscovered his stroke. The team's All-Star point guard finished Game 3 with 33 points on 11-19 shooting to lead Toronto to an impressive 95-91 win on the road, giving Toronto a 2-1 series lead.

Also working in the Raptors favor is that the Heat's star center, Hassan Whiteside, who left Game 3 with a knee injury, is considered day-to-day going forward and is seemingly unlikely to return to the floor this series. In his absence Miami will be forced to turn to veterans Amar'e Stoudemire and Udonis Haslem, neither of whom is ready to carry the load.
The one thing working against the Raptors is that they, too, will be missing their center. The team announced on Sunday that the ankle injury that Jonas Valanciunas suffered on Sunday will keep him out for the rest of the series. Valanciunas has been the playing the best basketball of his career; he’s averaging 15 points and 12 rebounds in the postseason.
All these injuries means it will now be up to the guards to carry the weight. That Lowry looks more confident on the floor has to make the Raptors feel strong about their chances of advancing.
