Steve Kerr channelled his inner Popovich with a 4-word interview after a bad quarter

But he smiled, which honestly makes all the difference.

If you're not Gregg Popovich but want to give a Gregg Popovich-esque answer, this is the way to do it. Answer with three or four words and then smile real big at the reporter, because if you're smiling, then everyone knows you're not actually mad and the reporter didn't ask a bad question.

Kerr’s usually fantastic with the media, being in the media himself for a while, and so there’s nothing wrong with this. He’ll talk with reporters, particularly outside of press conferences and on-the-record discussions, about certain aspects of what and why he does stuff. After being down 17 after just the first quarter, no one can blame him for this.
