The Wizards and the Celtics found themselves in an absurd yelling match after the buzzer of Boston’s 117-108 win on Wednesday. Jae Crowder — whose team won, mind you — took exception to the way John Wall was acting after the game, getting in his face, until Crowder reached out and hit Wall on the nose.
Celtics-Wizards scuffle prompted by Jae Crowder poking John Wall in the face

Here’s another look at the rather gross nose poke that Crowder sent his way.
The two teams hadn’t left the court, and there was some minor scuffling between each side before they exited. Extra security was placed around the locker rooms, but no players waited to confront each other like we saw earlier this year.
Emotions had already run high between the two teams in the past, which probably contributed to the two parties going at each other (in the loosest sense of that phrase). About a year ago, Crowder accused then-Wizards coach Randy Wittman of instigating him into getting a technical foul. Last November, Wall was ejected for a second straight game after a flagrant-2 foul against Marcus Smart.
The two teams seem to be a bit upset at each other, to say the least.
In the end, both players were fined by the NBA for the small altercation. Jae Crowder was hit with a $25,000 fine, while John Wall received $15,000.
They play again in Washington on Jan. 24. Mark your calendars if you wanna see talented athletes yell more mean things!
