NBA scores 2017: Wesley Matthews’ late game three-pointer leads Mavericks over Bulls
The Mavericks have their first three-game win streak of the season!

Jimmy Butler hit a jumper with 22.8 seconds remaining putting the Bulls up, 98-96, and Jimmy was very Jimmy after the shot. He stopped to give his usual smirk.
Dallas did not call a timeout for the last 22.8 seconds and let Rick Carlisle call the play from the sideline. On the play, Deron Williams drove to the basket as Matthews made a cut back to the three-point line. Dwyane Wade had to then choose between Williams or Matthews and left Matthews wide open for a three pointer to put the Mavericks up for good, 99-98.
Harrison Barnes led the way for the Mavericks with 20 points while Dirk Nowitzki provided a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Wade did not do the Bulls any favors on the night of his 35th birthday. He was 8-of-21 from the field and missed a shot at the buzzer for the win. Despite the loss, Butler had a good night in the box score finishing with 24 points, nine rebounds, and 12 assists. This left him one rebound shy of his first-ever career triple-double.
The Dallas Mavericks are now only three games out of the playoffs.
James Harden had another 40-point triple-double
This was James Harden’s fourth 40-point triple-double of the season. He finished the night with 40 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists, but unfortunately his night ended in a loss to Heat, 109-103. Meanwhile, Hassan Whiteside 14 points and 15 rebounds for Miami.
