Good morning. Happy New Year. Let’s basketball.
Who will nab Paul Millsap?
Good morning. We have that and more in Monday’s NBA newsletter.

START THE NEW YEAR OFF RIGHT: Did ... did Kris Dunn intentionally dribble around Shabazz Napier like that? Might as well just call him a 16-letter word and throw down, man.
THE PAUL BALL: The Hawks have reportedly begun gauging interest in Paul Millsap on the trade market. This is a little weird because Atlanta is well within the playoff mix, and the team’s second-best player has probably been Dwight Howard, who isn’t young. However, the Hawks set the tone for this one by trading Jeff Teague for a pick in the summer and let themselves be outbid for Al Horford. It’s time to rebuild.
