The Detroit Pistons were in control of this game for the first three quarters until the Washington Wizards went on a 24-9 run in the fourth quarter to bring them within one. The entire comeback took place with John Wall and Bradley Beal on the bench as the Pistons watched their lead slip away.

The Pistons gave up a 16-point lead but held on for the win.


The Wizards finally reclaimed the lead with 2:14 remaining in the game. With 28 seconds to go, John Wall missed a layup at the basket, which gave the Pistons the ball for one final possession and a chance to win. The Pistons got three shots at the basket on their last possession, with the Wizards unable to get a defensive rebound, including the game-winning tip-in from Marcus Morris.
It was a heck of a night for the Morris twins. Both Markieff and Marcus led their respective teams in scoring and rebounds. The box scores on ESPN look like a glitch, but they are in fact correct:
