Kawhi Leonard scored a career-high 41 points on Friday night, and for the first time in his NBA career, he scored 40-points in a game. What is even more impressive is that it came on the road against LeBron James and the Cavaliers. His previous career high was 38 points, which he scored against Phoenix earlier this month.

Leonard finished the night with 41 points, six rebounds, and five assists. It is now the sixth straight game that Leonard has scored 30+ points.
His 30+ point streak in six straight games is quite an accomplishment considering it’s the longest since George Gervin had 30+ in 10 straight in 1980. David Robinson had such a streak three different times, scoring 30+ in four straight games. Tim Duncan had only one streak of four straight games.
It’s safe to say that Kawhi Leonard is currently cementing himself in Spurs history. That’s something to smile about:
