Kyrie Irving goes down bleeding from face after accidental elbow from Celtics teammate

Irving will miss the rest of the game as he’s being monitored for a concussion.

Kyrie Irving got whacked across the face accidentally by his own teammate, Aron Baynes, in the first quarter of the Celtics’ game against the Hornets, and went down bleeding. He was helped to the locker room.

Irving will miss the rest of the game, as he’s being monitored for a potential concussion.

The Celtics are already down Gordan Hayward for the season, and Al Horford to a concussion. That means Boston is without its entire Big Three.

The team has yet to give an update on the severity of Irving’s injury. This post will be updated when there is more information.
