NBA Scores 2017: Saturday was a fun basketball night

Kevin Durant and Joel Embiid made for a pretty cool night of hoops.

There were only seven NBA games on Saturday night. “This finna be a breeze,” I thought to myself. Right?

Wrong.

That same seven-game slate sent my eyes flying from one direction to another all night long. Thankfully, I did it for you, dear reader, in case you couldn’t keep up.

Here’s what you missed from a ridiculously fun, action-packed Saturday night:

Kyrie Irving is cold-blooded

This shot basically put the dagger in Atlanta’s fourth-quarter odds at making a comeback against Boston:

Oh, and you already knew Irving did ridiculous things like make layups over one, two, three, four defenders:

A Sixers fan had the most clutch performance of the year

Unfortunately, his 76ers did not:

Why not? Because Kevin Durant knew Joel Embiid would go on Twitter and talk shit if they lost.

The Mavs 32-pieced Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks

And they set a franchise record with 19 threes made (on 50-percent shooting) to do it.

Here’s the thing. Look at Zach Randolph’s face when he sees what happened:

Now, watch him put his hands on his hips, like someone’s fed-up auntie:

Randolph then had some words for Nurkic. Let’s leave the contents of that conversation up to the imagination:

“You don’t want zero problems, big fella. Keep it pushin’.”

“Popeyes closes at 11:45, and you’re not about to make me late.”

“We can do this the easy way, or we can do this the hard way. But you walkin’ away.”
