The Pacers weren’t supposed to be good this year. They especially weren’t supposed to be good and fun. But here we are, a quarter of the way through the season and they’re turning out to be a League Pass delight, night after night.
These Pacers are more fun than we could have ever imagined
The Pacers’ fourth quarter against the Magic was a perfect showing of who they are now.

Take Monday night as a perfect example. After the Magic took the lead in the fourth quarter, the Pacers went on a 26-5 run, led by Victor Oladipo, Domantas Sabonis, and Lance Stephenson. But it wasn’t just any run. It was full dancing, smiling, and general happiness, which is what this Pacers team has become.
Victor Oladipo was 11-for-11 from the field after this wild three pointer. It hit every part of the rim before dropping, and all Oladipo could do was pull out the MJ shrug.
Then Lance Stephenson threw this pass to a cutting Sabonis with some extra Lance flair at the end of it. My personal favorite part is Lance screaming in Bojan Bogdanovic’s face immediately after.
But Lance wasn’t done. He then hit a three-pointer and immediately began playing the air guitar.
And all Myles Turner could do was dance around like a kid in a candy store.
This kind of stuff is what you can expect from this unsuspecting Pacers team. Most of us, myself included, thought it would be a down year for Indiana after losing Paul George. This season has been anything but that. If you need a new League Pass team, may I suggest these Pacers.
