LeBron James ejected for first time in his career against the Heat

This came out of nowhere!

LeBron James was ejected for the first time in his career after complaining about a non-foul call in the third quarter against the Heat. The Cavs were up by 21 points at the time, and the ejection was a shock after he was given two technicals in a span of just seconds.

Here’s the play:

LeBron had played in 1,289 career games before Tuesday night, and never once had he been tossed out of a game. That’s pretty remarkable.

After the game, the official reported that he tossed James from the game because he threw an air punch, charged at him and vulgarity.

“It was a culmination of a couple different acts,” Kane Fitzgerald said. “Immediately after the no call, he turned and threw an air punch directly at me and then he aggressively charged at me and then he used vulgarity in my ear a few times.”

Here’s Kevin Love’s face after The King was tossed:

The fans in Cleveland reacted the same:

Enes Kanter mocked LeBron afterwards on Twitter:

Here’s James’ reaction:

(Via FOX Sports Ohio):

“I think I’m one of the league leaders in points in the paint. I drive just as much as anybody. It’s like almost they’re trying to turn me into a jump shooter. And I’m not a jump shooter. I watch games every single night and I see jump shooters going to the line double-digit times every single night. And I’m not a jump shooter and I get fouled just like every body else do.”

Kyle Korver’s response was hilarious:

“It’s funny because, when you’re not on LeBron’s team, you’re like, ‘Man, that guy gets every call!’ But then you come on his team, and you’re like, ‘Man, that guy never gets any calls! It’s unbelievable!

Tyronn Lue just doesn’t want to get fined:

“Yup, should’ve got thrown out,” Lue said with a chuckle.
