LeBron James is wearing one black sneaker and one white sneaker in the Cavs’ game against the Wizards in Washington D.C. Both sneakers have the word “Equality” written on the back.
LeBron James is wearing one black, one white shoe with ‘EQUALITY’ written on the back in D.C.
He wore a similar pair in October.

He elaborated on why he wore the shoes after the game:
James wore similar shoes in his team’s season opener, except both shoes were black.
“I just wanted to keep the conversation going,” James told ESPN in October. “We know what we’re going through. We know what we went through as a nation, as a world [recently]. So I had an opportunity to use a platform for the greater good and keep the conversation going. Why not?”
James has been extremely outspoken on political and social events, openly criticizing President Donald Trump on multiple occasions, along with famously calling him a “bum” on Twitter.
With his latest selection of shoe wear, LeBron is still driving the conversation and getting his message out to the world.
