Steph Curry probably won’t play on Christmas vs. Cavs

Steph Curry’s injured ankle is going to be re-evaluated in a week, the Warriors announced. That timeline means that he probably won’t play against the Cavaliers on Christmas day.

Curry was ruled out indefinitely on Dec. 5 after an MRI didn’t reveal any structural damage.

Here’s how he suffered the injury:

The Cavs aren’t likely to have their true starting point guard, Isaiah Thomas, either. He is reportedly targeting his debut to be in the first week of January.

But there are plenty of superstars left to make this matchup entertaining.
