Spurs’ Kyle Anderson goes down with ugly-looking knee injury

Hopefully it isn’t as bad as it appeared.

Kyle Anderson went down with a knee injury in the third quarter of the Spurs’ game against the Thunder. It didn’t look good, as Anderson’s knee appeared to twist and he went down screaming in pain.

Derrick White shot Anderson’s free throws, and he obviously did not return. The team is calling the injury a knee sprain as of now, but the severity is yet to be determined.

San Antonio was already resting LaMarcus Aldridge, Tony Parker, Kawhi Leonard and Rudy Gay, so they are now extremely low on scoring options.

Hopefully Anderson’s injury wasn’t as bad as it looked.
