Russell Westbrook knew he was going to be asked about former Oklahoma City Thunder teammate Kevin Durant during media availability for the 2017 NBA All-Star Game. So he came prepared with a stock response: fashion.

Westrbook loves himself some clothes.
Question: Hey Russ, what’s it gonna be like to be in that locker room with Kevin Durant?
Westbrook: Man, you know what, fashion week has been great. You seen fashion week? You been paying attention to fashion week? Man, a lot of great looking things at fashion week I’m looking forward to — new collections, it’s been good.
Question: Hey Russ, any discussion of you and KD playing together?
Westbrook: Man, you seen the new Public School clothing? Crazy. They got the new Jordan hoodie with MJ. It’s crazy, man. A lot of new great things with Fashion Week I’ve seen, man. What else is out? Gucci. The new Gucci stuff is dope. It’s good stuff, man.
Westbrook answered every question regarding Durant as if he were asked about New York City fashion week, according to the Norman Transcript’s Fred Katz. The two are teammates on the Western Conference All-Star team, and head coach Steve Kerr has contemplated playing Westbrook with Durant and his other three Warriors All-Stars.
Durant left Oklahoma City for Golden State during free agency. The Warriors eliminated the Thunder in last season’s Western Conference Finals before losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7 of the NBA Finals.
Since then, Durant had downplayed the beef between he and Westbrook, calling it fake drama. That drama boiled over when he and Westbrook got into it in his return to Oklahoma City earlier this season.
Just imagine what it’s going to be like when Durant asks Westbrook a question during All-Star practice.
