The 2017 NBA All-Star Game is going to be a fun and fresh display of talent. Last season, the NBA said goodbye to Kobe Bryant in his final All-Star appearance, but this time around, there are no sendoffs.

TNT will televise the All-Star Game beginning at 8 p.m. ET on Sunday, with Marv Albert on play-by-play alongside analysts Reggie Miller and Chris Webber. ESPN Radio will provide radio coverage of the game.

For the Eastern Conference, there’s an immensely talented starting lineup. Kyrie Irving will be running the point for the East squad alongside DeMar DeRozan, LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and Jimmy Butler. Antetokounmpo is making his first All-Star appearance and start this season after having a breakout season with the Bucks.

Reserves for the East include Isaiah Thomas, John Wall, Kyle Lowry, Paul George, Kemba Walker, Paul Millsap, and Carmelo Anthony who is replacing Kevin Love.

For the West, starters are Stephen Curry, James Harden, Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard, and Anthony Davis. Many felt Russell Westbrook was snubbed for a starting spot, and something to look for is if Steve Kerr plays Curry, Durant, Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Westbrook all at the same time.

Reserves for the West include the aforementioned Westbrook, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, DeMarcus Cousins, Marc Gasol, DeAndre Jordan, and Gordon Hayward.

Many feel that Westbrook will try hard to go for a third-consecutive All-Star Game MVP, after winning it in 2015 and 2016. He’s going to be teamed up with Durant and his new teammates on the Warriors, after Durant bolted Oklahoma City for the West Coast and Golden State.

LeBron James is still the biggest draw on the East. While some will make the argument that he’s not the best player in the world anymore, there’s no questioning his name still holds the most weight.

The game has plenty of storylines and should be fun, with some faces we’re used to seeing and others who are relatively new in terms of this particular event.
