The NBA All-Star jerseys always vary from city to city and year to year. Sometimes the uniforms are more designed toward the culture of the host city, but this year isn’t necessarily one of those cases.
NBA All-Star Game 2017 jerseys: Uniforms are more plain this time around
The short notice based on the game’s relocation may have to do with a rather plain design.

This season, the uniforms are a dark gray with red-and-gold accents for the Western Conference, and a light gray with blue-and-white accents for the Eastern Conference. The uniforms are plain, but that shouldn’t be entirely unexpected since the game wasn’t initially planned for New Orleans.
The last time the All-Star Game was in New Orleans was 2014, and the uniforms were decorated with the iconic “fleur-de-lis.”
A notable addition to the uniforms is the sponsorship patches that appear near the shoulder on the jersey. It’s the second consecutive All-Star Game in which a Kia Motors patch will be on the uniform of players.

The game will be played in the Smoothie King Center on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 8 p.m. ET on TNT.
