Paul George says NBA trade deadline was a ‘dark moment of uncertainty’ for him

Paul George was on the ropes all day during the trade deadline.

The Paul George drama in Indianapolis continues even after the trade deadline has ended. At the Pacers’ first practice following the deadline, the media asked George his thoughts on all of the rumors floating around on Thursday and the idea that he could have been traded.

“I kind of was on the ropes just like you guys were, about what was about to happen. It was kind of a dark moment of uncertainty. That was the frustrating part. You want me to be your guy here, thought I would have been a little more in the loop on that.” said Paul George to reporters after practice in Indianapolis.

These are not the comments you want to hear if you’re the Pacers dealing with Paul George’s impending free agency. You can add it to a list of things that may eventually drive George away from Indiana.

You can see the full interview here, where George also mentioned he was in a “good situation.” George also did not deny that he has talked to some people in Los Angeles over the past few days and that he isn’t afraid to go through this again next year.
