Jabari Parker was helped to the locker room by teammates after his left knee buckled on a drive to the basket, and it turned out to be a torn ACL. It’s the same knee that Parker tore in Jan. 2015.

This looked like a terrible injury for Parker and the Bucks and it was.

The Milwaukee Bucks officially announced the injury as a sprained knee at the time and said Parker would not return, per their Twitter. After viewing the MRI a day later, they returned with a far more serious diagnosis that could keep Parker out for 12 months.
Here’s video of the injury. You can clearly see Parker plant, his knee gives way, and he reacts in pain.
Parker played nearly all of his sophomore season, suiting up for 76 games after recovering from the torn ACL. He’s having his best season as a pro this year, playing in 50 games and averaging slightly more than 20 points.
The timing could not be more unfortunate, with Khris Middleton — who was injured before the year — making his return this game and the Bucks looking forward to finally fielding a healthy roster again.
