Good morning. We have that and more in Thursday’s NBA newsletter.

The play-in games have been decided, so we know the full schedule for the first two days of the 2017 NCAA tournament. Here’s a look at all the prospects slated for the first round in DraftExpress’ latest NBA mock draft and when they play in the first round. Note that if the teams of these players win on Thursday, they’ll play again Saturday. If they win Friday, they’ll play Sunday. If they lose on either day, they will likely announce their eligibility for the NBA draft by Monday. If a prospect isn’t listed, he’s not in the tournament or he’s an international prospect.

The DraftExpress mock draft rank is in parentheses. All times are Eastern.

We are tracking the playoff and lottery races of note each night, by the way.

Speaking of which: The Miami Heat are now the No. 8 seed in the East. Unbelievable.

Kristian Winfield on the Lakers’ unabashed and indisputably smart (if hypocritical) tank job.

Watch Gregg Popovich yell at Kawhi Leonard and then watch Kawhi Leonard destroy Noah Vonleh.

Minor league baseball don’t get all of the fun. The D-League’s Delaware 87ers are wearing uniforms inspired by the Pink Power Ranger.

John Wall gets a lot of steals simply because he hustles after loose balls. Also, Marc Spears got him to open up about his relationship with Bradley Beal.

What if Russell Westbrook is actually a really good teammate?

Matt Moore has 17 questions to ask yourself before picking an MVP.

I, for one, do not want to watch a Charles Barkley vs. LaVar Ball 1-on-1 game. I think TNT’s social folks handled this pretty well. By the way, I enjoyed Zito Madu’s take that LaVar Ball is actually a good sports dad. In that spirit, I’d like to declare that my 7-year-old is better than Carli Lloyd and Alex Morgan. Put my daughter on the U.S. women’s national team and Carli on the Blue Dragons and see what happens!

The Spurs are still getting open shots off the Hammer play.
