Russell Westbrook’s reaction to Stephen Curry not picking him for MVP was perfect

“Who is he?”

Remember during the All-Star game when it looked like Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant had a moment of reconciliation after an alley-oop? And that the Western Conference was one big happy family? Those things all end in time. Last week when asked, Stephen Curry said that James Harden was a better pick for MVP over Russell Westbrook.

This week, Russell Westbrook responded in a way that only he could.

“I don’t care, it don’t matter what he say. Who is he?”

Westbrook clearly doesn’t care what Stephen Curry’s thinks of him, but we already knew that. Also watch the video again and appreciate the subtle yet perfect shoulder shrug from Russ.

The MVP race is certainly tight this year with Westbrook, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard and LeBron James all have career years and it’s hard to say if Stephen Curry was taking a specific jab at Westbrook or not with his comments. Either way, Westbrook is still on pace to average a triple-double over the course of the entire season and that’s pretty darn good.
