Devin Booker scored 70 points in an NBA game at age 20. What did you do at 20?

I asked Twitter followers what they had accomplished by 20, and here is what they said.

Devin Booker scored an incredible 70 points on Friday night in the Phoenix Sun’s game against the Boston Celtics, becoming just the sixth player in NBA history to score as many points in a game. His name now sits in the record books beside Wilt Chamberlain, Kobe Bryant, David Thompson, Elgin Baylor, and David Robinson. What a list to be on when you’re only 20 years old. He can’t even legally celebrate with a beer in the U.S. after that!

It made me think about how Lady Gaga and I were born a month apart from each other and that every time I hear about Gaga celebrating a birthday, I’m reminded of how much I haven’t accomplished in my one extra month here on Earth.

So I put this question out into the world, and here are the answers I received:

Some of you accomplished great things with food

Some of you were really good at video games:

Some of you did nothing:

Some of you were actually doing really great things:

Some of you did random things that didn’t fit in a category, but I felt compelled to put them in this post:

And some of you were doing some extremely illegal things at 20. Those were by far the most popular responses to the question. Just know I am not judging you, but your tweets won’t be appearing at this point because I, for one, am not the feds.

But I will leave you here with this because nothing should distract you from this fact:

So congrats, Devin Booker on this ridiculous accomplishment! I’m going to try and live each day with “Devin Booker scoring 70 points at age 20”-type confidence.
