With his 24th point on Thursday night, LeBron James passed Shaquille O’Neal for seventh on the NBA’s All-Time scoring list. James came out strong against the Bulls with 19 points in the first half. With a free throw late in the fourth quarter, he passed O’Neal with his 28,597th points.

James started the season in the 12th spot and has now moved all the way up to seventh all-time. Next up for LeBron is Dirk Nowitzki, who reached 30,000 points earlier this season. James is already an all-time great, but taking a look at this list really puts it into perspective. Here are the six remaining players ahead of James:

  1. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar - 38,387
  2. Karl Malone - 36,928
  3. Kobe Bryant - 33,643
  4. Michael Jordan - 32,292
  5. Wilt Chamberlain - 31,419
  6. Dirk Nowitzki - 30,181

Congrats, LeBron!
