Things got heated quickly during Washington Wizards-Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. The play started with Jason Smith setting a hard screen on Tyler Ulis that sent him to the ground. It doesn’t help that Smith is 7’0, while Ulis is only 5’9. Smith was hit with an offensive foul on the play.
Brandon Jennings, Jared Dudley ejected following gun gesture and headbutt
Things got ugly in Wizards-Suns.

After the foul is where things begin to take a turn for the worst. Ulis’ teammate, Jared Dudley, took exception to the foul and immediately ran up to Smith, giving him some sort of chest/head bump combo. Ulis thought he was coming over for a high five, but Dudley had other plans.
After Dudley got Smith with the bump, a scuffle broke out between the two teams. It was then that Brandon Jennings made a finger gun gesture at Jared Dudley. Jennings was ejected for the gesture.
This was not a great moment for Jennings.
Update: According to Jennings, he was not making a gun gesture. He says his intention just telling Jared Dudley to relax.
