Dion Waiters hit another dagger, this time against the Hornets

2017 belongs to Dion Waiters.

The Miami Heat have now won 20 out of their last 24 games. They were supposed to be tanking but they can’t. And no kidding, one of those reasons is Dion Waiters. He’s been clutch for the Heat this entire run and Wednesday night was no different.

The best part about this particular shot was that this was his second shot of the possession. He missed the first one so badly it didn’t even hit the rim. But that’s not stopping Dion Waiters from shooting again. No way.

It’s Dion’s house, I suppose.

The Heat went on to beat the Hornets 108-101 on Wednesday. It’s been a year for Dion daggers and celebrations. The takeover started in January when he hit this one over the Warriors.

The Miami Heat are now only a half game back of eighth place in the Eastern Conference. The Chicago Bulls currently sit in eighth. Wouldn’t it be something if Dwyane Wade’s old team beats out his new team?
