Don’t look now but the Miami Heat are only half a game back of eighth place in the Eastern Conference. They’ve won 20 of their last 24 games and it’s starting to look like they could pull this off? They could really pull this off. Oh ... and the team currently sitting in eighth place? That would be Dwyane Wade’s Chicago Bulls. How interesting would it be if Dwyane Wade’s old team beat out his new team for the playoffs.
NBA scores 2017: The Miami Heat might mess around and make the playoffs
So much for the tank.

The Heat were trailing heading into the fourth quarter but Dion Waiters would have none of it. He hit three three-pointers in the final 4:14 of the game. That included this final dagger below where Dion missed his first shot so much it didn’t even hit the rim. But that didn’t stop him from firing up another jumper immediately after.
Dion Waiters is for real, everyone. He has waited for this for so long.
The Heat won the game 108-101 in a victory over the Charlotte Hornets. As mentioned before, the Bulls who are currently in eighth spot lost on Wednesday night to the Orlando Magic so Dion and the Heat are looking for that number eight spot.
The Spurs made their biggest comeback ever under Coach Popovich
No Kawhi Leonard. No LaMarcus Aldridge. No problem?
It was actually as bad as you would imagine to start and the Spurs somehow found themselves down 28 to the Kings. The Kings! But for some reason, Coach Pop didn’t punt this game. He let his team play through it and the Spurs eventually woke up. The 28-point comeback the Spurs pulled off the largest in the current NBA. San Antonio ended up winning the game by 10 points in the end. A 38-point swing, of course.
Tonight’s win put the Spurs at 50 wins on the season. That makes 18 straight seasons of 50-wins which is an NBA record. They’re just unreal.
Crazy play of the night
The Warriors lost to the Celtics at Oracle but Steph Curry had an extremely Steph moment.
Block of the night
Just check out this Gordon Hayward block on James Harden. It has not been a good week for Harden in this regard. And hey, the Utah Jazz are in fourth place in the Western Conference. They’re pretty good.
