John Wall is showing off his signature chasedown block in NBA playoffs

You have to watch your back with Wall on the floor.

The NBA playoffs are made for Stephen Curry three-pointers, LeBron James no-look passes, Giannis Antetokounmpo dunks, and John Wall chasedown blocks.

If you haven’t been watching much of the Washington Wizards, you’ll now learn that swatting shots from behind has become a staple of Wall’s game.

He wasted no time showing that in the opening minutes of the Wizards’ first playoff game against the Atlanta Hawks. Dennis Schroder was the first of many victims to come.

Just last week, Wall blocked Josh Richardson’s layup hard enough off the glass that it landed out of bounds.

He embarrassed Kemba Walker in March.

In February, Rodney Stuckey thought his steal meant an easy layup.

It didn’t.

This isn’t new, but the Wizards’ rise has brought Wall’s highlights to the forefront. He’s subtly been an incredible shot blocker for a while.

Just ask Serge Ibaka.

The Hawks better watch their back whenever Wall is on the floor. He’s always coming full speed to protect the rim.
