How much trouble are the Celtics in?
Flanns and Gonz discuss Boston’s fate and the NBA Playoffs to date in this week’s Drive & Kick podcast.
The Celtics dropped the first two games at home of their first-round series with the Bulls and looked overmatched in Game 2 by the No. 8 seed. On the flip side, the Bulls are suddenly connected and confident. What in the name of Paul Zipser is going on here?!
Out West, the Clippers and Jazz are engaged in a tough, physical, weird series. L.A. got its split but couldn’t have felt too good about it, especially considering Rudy Gobert is out of the lineup. The Jazz did what they had to, but do they have enough to finish the job?
Your friendly neighborhood podcast hosts are on the ground for both series and we dove deep on both for this week’s Drive & Kick. Also on the pod:
- Paul relived his Boston Marathon experience in all its painful, beautiful glory.
- Rebounding. This all comes back to rebounding.
- The Bulls’ role-players are balling out. (Also: Paul Zipser is a really fun name to say.)
- So is Rajon Rondo. We all saw that coming. Right? Right? Don’t lie. You didn’t.
- Al Horford has to be better and that’s coming from one of the bigger defenders out there.
- The Clippers are at the crossroads. Again. They are always at the crossroads.
- Utah not only got its split, the Jazz did it without Gobert. Neither of us are sure that they have enough to pull this off without Gobert, but neither of us are sure the Clippers won’t Clipper.
- With all the Clipper drama, the Jazz are just hanging around waiting to steal this one.
