The defending champs started as we thought they would, going up 2-0 on the No. 7 seed Indiana Pacers to start the series. While the Cavaliers have been in control for most of the series, the Pacers have been able to hang around enough to make Cleveland at least a little bit uncomfortable.

Game 1 came down to a final shot and the Cavaliers nearly had another fourth quarter collapse in Game 2. While the Cavaliers defense appeared to still be a bit shaky, their offense was clicking on all cylinders. For the first time, LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love each scored more than 25 points in a game.
Paul George has been everything the Pacers could ask for on the court but his off the court comments have caused controversy whether it was warranted or not. The Pacers were 29-12 at home this year and have been historically good while playing in Indianapolis. They’ll need it on Thursday to try and get back into this series.
