Isaiah Thomas shot poorly from three-point range in the Boston Celtics’ first-round playoff series against the Chicago Bulls. He only hit nine out of 45 attempts.
Isaiah Thomas made every 3-point shot he took without a tooth
The cure to every slump is ripping out a tooth.

That was because he had a full set of teeth.
SB Nation has clear evidence that his left maxillary central incisor tooth was causing his shooting problem.
Thomas had the tooth knocked out in the opening quarter of the team’s first playoff game against the Washington Wizards.
Ouch, right?
Wrong! It was exactly what his three-point shot needed.
He went on to hit three consecutive shots from distance.
His tooth is back in now, but we will always remember his perfect minutes without it.
Other players should take note.
Chandler Parsons tried begging the basketball to get in the hoop on Twitter when he struggled this season.
Maybe he should just knock out a few of those pearly whites.
