NBA draft 2017: Who’s in, who’s out, and who’s on the fence

The college basketball season is over. Now it’s time for players across the country to decide if they should turn pro or return to school.

The top players from across the country have already started declaring for the 2017 NBA draft. Washington’s Markelle Fultz and UCLA’s Lonzo Ball lead the way. The freshman point guards are expected to be in contention for the No. 1 pick when the draft rolls around in June.

The decision isn’t so clear-cut for all college hoopers. Some, like Kentucky’s Bam Adebayo, have declared for the draft but did so without an agent. That affords the kids an opportunity to return to school if they don’t like their standing in the draft.

And some players opted to return to school altogether, in hopes of developing their game and competing for their school next season.
