Sixty-seven NBA hopefuls vie for 60 spots during the 2017 NBA Draft Combine, which airs Thursday and Friday from 2 to 6 p.m. ET on ESPN2. The combine is the biggest scouting event for NBA teams, which send several representatives to get a look at the talent pool for the year’s upcoming draft.

This year’s crop of names is touted as one of the deepest draft classes in recent memory.
But many of the Draft’s top prospects won’t be in attendance. Some of those names include projected top-five picks Lonzo Ball (UCLA Bruins), Josh Jackson (Kansas Jayhawks) and Jayson Tatum (Duke Blue Devils).
Projected No. 1 pick Markelle Fultz is expected to attend, but ESPN.com’s Chad Ford said the Washington Huskies product won’t work out. He’ll be there for interviews and possibly medical testing.
Kentucky point guard De’Aaron Fox will attend and workout during the Draft Combine, as will UNC’s Justin Jackson, Kansas’ Frank Mason III and North Carolina State’s Omer Yurtseven.
