Spurs vs. Warriors 2017 live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch NBA Western Conference finals online

This series shouldn’t go as smoothly for Golden State.

The San Antonio Spurs won their quarterfinal series against the Houston Rockets convincingly, in a 39-point blowout even without Kawhi Leonard. Jonathon Simmons was huge to close out Game 6, and LaMarcus Aldridge broke out of the funk that had Spurs fans worried.

Are they ready for the Golden State Warriors though?

Steph Curry and company haven’t played a game in six days, and it’s been weeks since they played in a competitive one. During the regular season, the Spurs won two out of three games between the teams, but that includes a game which Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevin Durant, and Draymond Green all sat in.

They’ll all be ready and fully rested for Game 1, and San Antonio can’t say the same for its starting lineup. Tony Parker will miss the rest of the postseason with a ruptured quadricep tendon, and though Leonard will reportedly play, nobody knows how he’ll be coming off an ankle injury.

Going against the best team in the league with a horde of all-stars, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich offered the only advice he could:

Despite Pop’s sarcasm, this series will be nowhere near as simple as the last two for the Warriors. Last season, the Oklahoma City Thunder held off San Antonio so Golden State didn’t have to. This year the Spurs are coming, and it should be a battle.
