The 2017 NBA Finals wrapped just a week ago, but the offseason is already starting to heat up. The first and perhaps most dramatic event will be Thursday’s NBA draft, which is shaping up to be a fascinating night after a week of blockbuster trades and intriguing speculation.

The show begins at 7 p.m. ET and can be seen on both ESPN and NBA TV. Fans can stream the event online at WatchESPN. You can find the full draft order here and the full list of traded picks here.

The Boston Celtics came out on top with the No. 1 overall pick in the lottery, an envious position for a team that got the Eastern Conference’s top playoff seed. However, the Celtics pulled off a stunning trade earlier in the week, sending the pick to the Philadelphia 76ers and moving down to No. 3. They also got a first-rounder from the Los Angeles Lakers, which could either be a 2018 or 2019 pick.

The drama likely won’t end there, with names like Jimmy Butler, Paul George, and Kristaps Porzingis being floated in trade rumors for most of the week. The arms race for assets and superstar players should only pick up in intensity as teams look for a way to take down the Golden State Warriors.

The 76ers will almost certainly select Washington’s Markelle Fultz with the top pick, adding yet another foundation piece to a young and promising core. The No. 2 pick also feels like a done deal, with UCLA’s Lonzo Ball and his father openly courting the Lakers. The Celtics’ new spot at No. 3 is where this draft should really start getting interesting. In his latest mock draft, SB Nation’s Ricky O’Donnell projects Duke forward Jayson Tatum to Boston. The Phoenix Suns and Sacramento Kings round out the top five.
