Paul George made it clear this summer that he’ll be leaving the Pacers after next season, that is if Indiana doesn’t trade him first. The Pacers have been active on the trade market since George made his intentions clear, but that’s not stopping his teammate Lance Stephenson from asking him to stay.

It wasn’t just that Stephenson asked, and tagged Paul George, in the post. It’s that he got into an Instagram exchange with Isaiah Thomas while doing it.
Thomas has been quite active on Instagram lately, so it comes to no surprise he was ready to have words for Stephenson. After all, the Celtics are one of the teams interested in adding George to their roster. At least this exchange ended on nice terms, though.
Stephenson sure knows what it’s like to leave the Pacers for greener grass on the other side. George most likely won’t be taking Stephenson’s advice but you can’t blame Stephenson for trying.
