Kevin Durant appeared on the latest episode of Hot Ones and, whether you’re an NBA fan or just a Hot Ones fan, this episode is fantastic.
The 6 best moments from Kevin Durant’s appearance on ‘Hot Ones’
Durant opened up while sweating through some extreme hot sauces.

Durant has always been quiet with the media, and he discusses why in this episode. So it’s nice to hear him open up a bit.
Here were the best parts:
Kevin on that questionable Rick James tattoo on his leg.
Oh yeah, Rick James brings me back to at time where like I first started listening to that type of music. I remember when I was probably like 8 years old and I heard “Fire and Desire” with Tina Marie and it just gave me a different feeling in life. I wanted to recreate that feeling. I spontaneously just got it tattooed on my thigh. I think I’m gonna really be excited about it once I get older, show my kids Rick James on my thigh. They’re gonna really think I’m a cool dad. It’s light years.
Yes, Kevin. Light years.
Kevin on partying with Drake after Nothing Was the Same was released
“Oh it was LIT.”
Kevin on what we learned from Kobe Bryant
“Yeah, every time you touch the ball ... shoot it.”
Kevin on getting advice from players around the league
Good wine recommendation: LeBron
Stock tip: “I don’t need nobody for that.” - KD
Veteran advice: Nick Collison
Guest rap verse: Damian Lillard
Style tips: He started by saying the one person he wouldn’t get tips from is Draymond Green.
He then followed up with words we all wanted to hear.
“Westbrook. Easy”
Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
They may not be BFFs anymore but we’re getting there.
Kevin Durant on people calling him a snake
“I’ve got the snake comment so many times I might just tattoo one of those on my arm.”
But what about the hot sauces? About half way through is when Kevin started to lose it.
“Getting a little watery up here.”
“Yeah, that just hit me.”
With three sauces to go:
“That don’t even taste like anything. That’s just like ... why would you even make that.”
And now Kevin has gone full Krabs Meme due to the sauces.
Here is KD having the second-to-last sauce, Blair’s Mega Death Sauce, and he’s essentially passing out.
And now Kevin has The Last Dab, the final sauce of the show. He’s quickly teased by the fact that Kevin Love did, in fact, finish this challenge. So he takes a bite and within seconds he’s gone.
And sweating.
All in all, Kevin did fantastic on this challenge. These wings are hot as hell and KD handled it beautifully. It was also fun to hear Durant tell these stories that we don’t normally hear from him. So nice, in fact, I recommend you follow his YouTube channel.
