I have no idea how this happened, but we are legitimately midway through the NBA season. The trade deadline is less than a month away. Then it’s the All-Star Game. Then the playoffs. It’s really half over, and I’m already getting nervous for that first night in June when there are no NBA games and everything feels wrong.
The B-Sides: Caron Butler is a ‘DuckTales’ fan, and 7 more reasons to love the NBA this week
Caron Butler knows his Disney, the Bulls are still fun, and Gerald Green’s emoji hat made for a great week around the NBA.

It’s B-Sides time though, and we have no room to be sad when there is so much good in the National Basketball Association.
1. Caron Butler sang the DuckTales theme song perfectly
I feel like I’ve lost so much time not knowing that Caron Butler was my favorite NBA player of all time. Anyone who knows the DuckTales song this well is good in my book.
2. The Bulls brought their Moms to their game in New York
How the Bulls have become such a heartwarming and fun team this year is beyond me:
3. Gerald Green’s hat with the rocket emoji
Green’s return to the NBA has been special. This picture and hat, also special:
4. Kyrie’s shoes for the London game
I’ve been a fan of basically every Kyrie 4 that’s come out, so this is no surprise:
5. DeMar DeRozan wearing this BFF hoodie with Kyle Lowry
The best BFFs in the NBA are at it again:
6. Shawn Marion and Cedric Ceballos on The Amazing Race dressed as french fries
In episode one, they nearly got eliminated. In episode two, they dressed as french fries and finished in second place. Stay tuned:
7. Boban is dancing. BOBAN IS DANCING.
The “soda on the side” has me weak:
8. NBA referees tweet their lineups before games
DID YOU KNOW THEY DID THIS?! I did not. I am beside myself:
My favorite James Harden photo of the week
It’s definitely this photo of Harden back at Arizona State losing his mind during a game on Thursday:
See ya next week, friends. Tweet me your B Sides, and I’ll include them in the next round.
