He put no thought into how weird this play might look, and upon watching and re-watching, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’d practiced this play before.
It turns out Antetokounmpo probably didn’t watch any football this weekend because he had no idea what position hikes the ball. When a reporter told Antetokounmpo he made a football play, he said he probably could be a “pitcher.”
“I just tried to throw it to Khris as fast as I can,” Antetokounmpo said. “I probably could be a football player. What is that, the pitcher?”
“The long snapper,” a reporter said in response.
“The snapper? Long snapper? Yeah, I could be a football player,” Antetokounmpo said.
Giannis continues to amaze each and every game on and off the court.
