Super Bowl Sunday started with an Al Horford game winner for the Celtics

Wow. Finally, something good happened for Boston sports.

Al Horford started Super Bowl Sunday off right for Boston, as the Celtics’ forward faded away for the game-winning shot to sink the Trail Blazers, 97-96, at the buzzer.

Despite Kyrie Irving’s absence, the Celtics found a way to come back from a double-digit deficit in the first half. Horford finished with 22 points on 12 shots.

The ball is in the Patriots’ court now to have the ultimate Super Bowl Sunday experience.
