It’s NBA B-Sides time!

If it’s your first time here, B-Sides is where we appreciate everything in the background with the NBA that made us happy this week. With two weeks left in the regular season, players are reaching peak B-Sides form. We’re starting to develop B-Sides All-Stars like Jimmy Butler and Kevin Love, both of whom make an appearance this week.

Let’s get into the wacky and lovable side of the NBA that keeps us coming back. Here’s what I loved this week.

1. Lance Stephenson brought breakfast sandwiches for the team

When the Pacers posted this photo of Stephenson boarding the team plane, Pacers Twitter had to know what was in the pan. Turns out, Stephenson brought breakfast sandwiches for the entire team that his chef prepared before flying out to Oakland, according to the Pacers broadcast.

This ins’t the first time he’s brought food: he’s also brought turkey wings and lasagna on prior trips. Sir Lance A Lot at his finest.

2. Kevin Love incredible stanchion celebration

It took a while, but no one is happier playing alongside LeBron James than Kevin Love. He got so excited about this LeBron dunk he ran to celebrate ... with the basket.

3. Jimmy Butler has no interest in this stat sheet

Just watch this. I don’t have anything else to add, except that Jimmy Butler is a legend.

4. Karl-Anthony Towns’ Monsters Inc shoes

KAT hasn’t worn these yet but they’ll easily be my favorite shoes of the season when he does.

5. NSYNC recorded their first demo in Shaquille O’Neal’s studio

Look at baby Justin Timberlake! I’m not going to address whatever Joey Fatone is wearing.

I also found an interview where Chris Kirpatrick said the rest of the band didn’t get to meet Shaq. Guess Timberlake was always a step above.

6. The Nuggets boy band is back

Denver starred in a previous B-Sides with all of their boy band photos, but it had been a while since we’d seen them. This qualifies as the band being back.

7. Kemba Walker got emotional after becoming the Hornets leading all-time leading scorer

Congrats to Kemba on this wonderful accomplishment. This video will bring the tears.

My favorite James Harden photo of the week

WHAT LOL. This looks like Harden is doing his best Bollywood dance mid game.
