Celtics vs. Bucks live results: Game 3 score updates and highlights

NBA: Playoffs-Milwaukee Bucks at Boston Celtics

Bob DeChiara-USA TODAY Sports

The Milwaukee Bucks took the Boston Celtics to overtime in Game 1 of their first-round NBA playoff series, but are now back home down 0-2 and questioning their own effort before Game 3 on Friday night at Bradley Center in Milwaukee.

After the Celtics beat the Bucks, 120-106, on Wednesday in Game 2, listen to these quotes from the Milwaukee locker room, per Andrew Wagner of the Madison State Journal:

Khris Middleton: “They were the more desperate team tonight.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo: “I think as a team we didn’t show up tonight.”

Bucks coach Joe Prunty: “Boston, from the jump, I thought they played harder.”

Meanwhile, the Celtics have a balanced attack with four players averaging 19.5 points or more this series, including 23 a game so far from Terry Rozier, having a breakout series. From our Paul Flannery:

A funny thing happened to Scary Terry Rozier after injuries took Irving and Smart out of the lineup: he became a really solid NBA point guard. For all his high-energy work, Rozier rarely turns the ball over. His turnover ratio is comparable to that of Mike Conley, the heady Memphis guard. While still inconsistent as a finisher, Rozier’s outside shot improved dramatically.

Rozier is 7-for-14 from three-point range in the series.

During the regular season the Bucks and Celtics split four games, with each team winning once on the other team’s floor.
