The 2018 NBA Draft starts at 7 p.m. ET on Thursday, and nobody knows who the top pick will be, or the pick after, or the pick after and so on. There has been less pre-draft information leaking out for this draft than any in recent memory. We could be bound for some real madness in New York City.

Arizona’s Deandre Ayton, Real Madrid’s Luka Doncic, Michigan State’s Jaren Jackson Jr., Duke’s Marvin Bagley III and Wendell Carter, Texas’ Mo Bamba, Missouri’s Michael Porter Jr. and Oklahoma’s Trae Young are all vying for top-5 spots. Each offers something different, while also having a red flag or two making them less than unanimous favorites. And that’s what will make this draft so chaotic.
Foreseeing trades is so difficult, too. The teams drafting in the high lottery this year are all there... for a reason. They’ve made mistakes along the way and their unpredictability means any prospect could be on the board and any team may convince them to part ways with their pick. Will the Kings keep pick No. 2? Will the Grizzlies stay at No. 4? Mavs at No. 5?
