Cavs fans chanted ‘M-V-P’ as LeBron James checked out for maybe the last time in Cleveland

Cleveland can only hope its star stays.

LeBron James checked out of the Cavs Game 4 Finals loss with just under four minutes to play. It was a blowout, and with this possibly being The King’s final game in a Cavaliers uniform, fans chanted “M-V-P” as he congratulated the Warriors starting five and settled his way to the bench.

James is set to become a free agent next month, and nobody is sure where he’ll decide to play next, or if he’ll stay put. Cleveland fans have to be on edge as they saw their legend completely outmatched from a talent standpoint for the entire series, never really able to make the series against the Warriors interesting aside from a close Game 1 blunder.

Now they can only wait until the first week of July or so to hear where their franchise’s fate rests.
