The NBA’s 2018 Las Vegas Summer League is set to begin on July 6, just two weeks after the draft, and it’s time to see who will make a Kyle Kuzma-esque impression and steal the show.

What’s the Summer League for? Every summer the league’s best first- and second-year talents mixed with guys trying to crack the end of teams’ rosters play competitively for the first time as a pro. The games don’t mean anything for the team, but for the individuals —including coaches — it means everything for the future of their job.

So who’s bound to catch eyes at Summer League? Maybe it’s Atlanta Hawks rookie point guard Trae Young, the three-point king who took over the NCAA. It could be the Mavericks’ new point-forward and European star, Luka Doncic. Suns no. 1 pick DeAndre Ayton, a physical seven-foot freak, is also set to debut.

With every teen and 20-something trying to steal the show, get ready to for some offseason fun.
