The stars were out as the Los Angeles Lakers hosted the New York Knicks on Monday night, and no we’re not talking about LeBron James, Anthony Davis, or Jalen Brunson. Instead, a large Goldendoodle famous on social media stole the show by sitting courtside and winning a dance contest in the middle of the game.

The Knicks beat the Lakers, 114-109, at the building formerly known as the Staples Center. Before and after the game, all anyone wanted to talk about was Brodie, the certified good boy with one million Instagram followers whose fluffy hair and chill demeanor took his viral stardom to the next level thanks to his floor seats at the Lakers game.
Brodie was spotted during the first quarter just sitting back and watching some high-quality hoops.
The dog was later shown on the jumbotron for a dance contest during a “fan of the game” segment. Apologies to the unlucky person who had to go up against such a beautiful pup, but needless to say Brodie stole the show.

This dog is reportedly bringing home the bacon in a big way. The dog has earned $1 million for his owner, 33-year-old Cliff Brush, in branding deals over the past year, according to the New York Post. Brush says he has an autoimmune condition called lichen planus that is triggered by stress. He says that his flare-ups have diminished since he got Brodie as his service dog.

Brodie is reportedly three years old and weighs 80 pounds. After grabbing some courtside seats to the Lakers game, he’s more famous now than ever.
We need Brodie sitting courtside at more NBA games. Maybe he can make the trek to Madison Square Garden after watching the Knicks win in LA on Monday night.
